Kulay Palengke 2

A palengke --taken from the Spanish palenque, meaning "palisade or stockade" -- is a public market common throughout the Philippines. A palengke is usually composed of several dozen stalls arranged in rows under a shared roof. Taken at the Mahogany Market in Tagaytay City, Philipines with my Galaxy Tab; 2013

Pagtitirik ng Kandila 2

Votive candles are lighted as an offering for some favor from the Lord or the saint before which the votive is placed. In some churches, different colored candles represent different kinds of petitions. Taken at the Our Lady of the Abandoned Church, Marikina City, Philippines, 2013 with a Galaxy S Tab.

Kulay Kalye 3

I'll let you in on a little secret -- I'm partially color-blind. So I've become more conscious of colors -- both the ones I can see accurately as well as the others that I can't -- and not taking their presence for granted. An advantage though is that I see little nuances here and there of color, especially in reflected light . What appears as a blank sheet of white to most would appear as a lightly water-color washed area of light to me. I'd see the reflected colors from things nearby more easily. Thank god for small blessings;) Taken around places I regularly walk around through; 2012

Kulay Kalye 2

Take a second look at mundane, everyday things in a different light. They may just surprise you with color. Taken around places I regularly walk around through; 2012
